PRIORITY SETTING TOOL (PST) INSTRUCTIONS:

Welcome to the 2009 version of the PST.  Now begins the process for the 2009 Cleveland, Ohio Food Use Workshop (September 15-16, 2009) which will lead to the 2010 projects.  We will conduct two prioritization conference calls  prior to the Food Use Workshop to finalize our Western Region top picks.  As the year progresses the reports will reflect both new projects and your rankings of these project’s relative merits.

All comments will be reviewed and then re-posted here along with any additional new PCRs which come through IR4 Headquarters at Rutgers. Keep in mind that if you don't see a project you're interested in we can't prioritize it at the Workshop.  All potential projects need a unique Project Clearance Request (PCR) submitted and nominated before the 2009 PCR deadline (August 28th for PCR’s & August 30st for nominations) in order to be considered  at the Cleveland, Ohio Food Use Workshop.  Some projects may be in the national Food Use Database but will not necessarily be discussed at the Food Use Workshop due to various factors, typically regulatory or registrant support.  Search the national database or call us for clarification on these projects.

Again, our goal is to prioritize western projects well BEFORE the workshop.  Projects which have Western interest but will not be discussed at the workshop (various different reasons, no support, ongoing, etc.) are listed in the Off Table Report  which lists the specific reasons given projects will not be brought forward.
